You need to train to reach a level of exhaustion and then keep going past it.
Many guys make a mistake when they get tired - they stop.
You can go a lot longer than your mind is telling you.
Your mind is telling you to stop but your body can keep on going.
I'm going to break down what do and what to throw when you reach a level of exhaustion.
Basics is what's going to save you when you're in trouble, when you get hit, disoriented, wobbled, exhausted and have no output left.
When you get tired, go back to fundamentals: back to jabs, crosses, jab > cross combos, front snapping kicks and constantly moving using fighter's footwork.
But if you haven't drilled and trained under exhausting conditions then you're not going to be able to execute when it matters.
THE DRILL IS: when you hit a level of exhaustion and your cardio is depleted, add 30-60 seconds and go back to basics. Start pumping snapping jabs, start throwing crosses, jab > cross combos and constantly moving to avoid being stationary.
You're not going to throw with the same speed and power as you did when you're fresh but you still need to drill to throw crisp and on target.
You need to be extremely good at throwing these basics under very stressful conditions especially when tired. Because when it counts they'll always be there for you.
Stay away from movements that deplete your energy.
Stay away from heavy power shots, complex combinations and from kicks (with exception of front snapping kick).
You need to be conserving energy and actively recovering. This is why the fundamentals are the best. They are always dangerous and they are always efficient.
The fundamentals is what you need to master. There are 4 punches and 8 combinations you need and they are all covered here in this in-depth program. Start today.
