How to Develop Fight Cardio

You will never feel more tired in your life than when you're are in a fight.

After just 30-60 seconds you'll feel completely exhausted and the reality of the situation sets in: you are going to lose.

Many quit, give up, tap out, get knocked out or killed not because someone is better but because they run out of gas. And it happens way too often.

Unless you train cardio.

But not just any cardio, it needs to be fight focused cardio.

Fight cardio must be combinations of anaerobic work at short, high pace of 80-100% intensity, combined with moderate to low pace active work at 40-70% intensity. All fights follow this pace.

Sprawl and Brawl Fight Cardio Program

"Sprawl and Brawl" comes from old school days of NHB/MMA where grapplers and wrestlers dominated the fight sport. To beat them you had to sprawl to defend the takedowns then get back to your feet and out strike them.

It was one of the most grueling styles of fighting. You throw punches, kicks, knees, elbows at high intensity then change levels to sprawl and defend takedowns. If you got taken down, then you scramble and get back to your feet. Rinse, repeat.

To get ready, you would train to sprawl and brawl to such a level that when the fight time came, you cardio would withstand anything a wrestler and grappler could do. They would get exhausted trying to take you down or hold you down. And by then you’d have their number.

This training program mimics the “Sprawl and Brawl” mentality and conditioning approach.

In fact I use this program every time I train and been following it for over a decade. I put 15 minutes on the clock at the start of every training session. I go through the "Sprawl and Brawl" rounds then after 15 minutes are up, I am ready to hit my main training session. This is how I continue to maintain my technique, my speed and my fight cardio.

But this program isn't just for those who have been training for years or for those who is fighting.

Anyone can start using it at any skill level. I made it extremely versatile and adjustable to beginners and to professionals.

All you need is 15 minutes per day and 4x per week.

You simply put on the audio (mp3 files) included with the program and push play. Then follow along what it says for 15 minutes. That's it. No thinking. You just do what the audio tells you.
